NEY S-1 ZINC ALLOY FOR SPIN CASTING IN SILICONE RUBBER MOLDS A special development for those who need to produce high quality, cadmium free, zinc based castings. Our S1 is a proprietary mix and contains Zinc, Aluminum, Copper and other Cadmium free materials as grain tighteners. DENSITY: .244 lbs./cu.in. Zinc Cast Medallion S-1 zinc alloy was designed with the centrifugal casting process in mind and is ideally suited for the SILICON RUBBER MOLD application. It is far superior to the normal die cast alloys. This alloy can be used for small jobs (under 50,000 pieces) where the cost of an elaborate die casting mold is not justified.
