| Neylo Alloys Eutectic and Non-Eutectic We manufacture most eutectic and non-eutectic alloys ranging from 117 Fahrenheit to 900 Fahrenheit. We can customize the alloy to your specifications. Our designation for these alloys are "Neylo" low melting alloys Our best selling alloy is our Neylo 281. It is a lead free alloy that casts well and can be used in wire form as a solder for lead free pewter. We manufacture it in 2# cakes and in .062" diameter wire form. Special forms available. THE FOLLOWING ARE THE MOST COMMONLY USED EUTECTIC LOW MELTING ALLOYS. NEYLO 117 - Use in jigging of fixturing delicate parts for machining (honeycomb), models, prosthetic development work; proof casting; fusible element in safety devices radiopague contrast medium in X-rays; low temperature solder
NEYLO 136 - Anchor parts for machining (jet blades), testing inspection, block lenses in optical manufacturing, proof casting, fusible element in safety devices (sprinkler heads), fusible cores in compound cores, low melting solder sealing adjustment screws.
NEYLO 158 - Anchor bushings in drill jigs, internal or external support of delicate parts for machining, cores for spinning, fusible mandrels in filament windings, fiberglass lamination, drop hammer and embossing dies, tube bending filters (up to 1.75" diameter), heat transfer medium in processing plastics, chemicals, etc..
NEYLO 255 - Anchor cutlery handles, inserts in wood, metal, plastic, metal parts in glass. Make fusible spinning chucks, mandrels for electroforms, drop hammer dies, stretch form blocks, molds for plastics, plaster, filler for tube bending (tubes over 1.75" diameter), hydrodynamic forming, seamless fittings, duplicate patterns in pottery and foundry, liquid metal in autoclaves, heat treating.
NEYLO 281 - Anchor: shafts in permanent magnet rotors, locator members in aircraft assembly fixtures, metal parts in glass, magnets in fixtures. Make nests for parts in jigs and dial feed stations, cores for electroforming, embossing dies, form blocks, joggle jaws, lost wax pattern dies, duplicate foundry patterns, tracer models in profiling. Molds: for plastics, encapsulating forming sheet plastics, plastic teeth, prosthetic development, potting electronic components, low temperature solder, laps for rifle barrels.
